Focused is the 2003 release from Matchstick Productions in VHS and DVD format.
After much speculation, anticipation and just plain rumors this winter, the award-winning crew at Matchstick Productions is unveiling their latest ski movie, FOCUSED. Throughout the winter of 2003, the team at Matchstick traveled the globe filming from helicopters and snowmobiles and world class resorts.
Some highlights of the year include Seth Morrison sticking huge rodeo 720’s, Jay Quinlan sticking a back flip in his snowmobile and Shane McConkey skiing off 600’ cliffs with his parachute. From CR Johnson’s 20’ airs in the Aspen superpipe to Shane McConkey’s incredible base-jumps, FOCUSED is the movie that everyone will talk about all year.
Shot on location in Whistler and Bella Coola B.C., Lyngen Alps, Norway, Aspen and Copper Mtn, CO, Brooklyn, NY, Mt. Bachelor and Mt Hood, Meadows, OR, Mammoth Mtn and Squaw Valley, CA, Grand Targhee and Jackson Hole, WY. Bonus: 30 minutes of extra footage.
Review: "These are some of the most insane stunts we have ever filmed." -Murray Wais, director

Technical Difficulties: The Best Mack Dawg Movie
http://image.www.rakuten.co.jp/sports-mix2nd/img10464124731.gif
Technical Difficulties gets the nod as number uno on list of the greatest snowboard films. As most of the top films, this movie has all of the aspects of a great snowboard film. It's soundtrack selections such as "Good Grief" by Foo Fighters and "New World Disorder" by Chrome Locust that really put this movie over the top as well as the best snowboarders such as JP Walker, Peter Line, and Devun Walsh.
Mack Dawg Productions had been producing the best snowboarding movies for the previous ten years. The 1998 release Decade was one of their best and most progressive yet. How could they top it? I don't know how, but Mack Dawg's 1999 release Technical Difficulties is better than Decade, and is the best Mack Dawg Productions movie ever.
The year of 1998 saw the Forum Team dominate the movie, throwing down the best parts. It included the legend Peter Line and a group of talented young kids including JP Walker and Devun Walsh. In this movie the team gets one year older and one year better. The Forum guys again are great, but some other riders rise to the occasion and deliver. Some of these kids were Chad Otterstrom, Kevin Jones, and Jason Brown.
